Be our first sales hire and build the motion that takes Lurio from early traction to a real revenue engine.
£50k–£70k base + commission + equity
Why this role
Lurio more or less sells itself in a demo. What it does not have yet is the engine that gets it in front of the right people, again and again. Building that engine is this role. You are employee one on the commercial side, and the motion you create is the one the whole company will scale on.
What you'll actually do
Own the full cycle: source, pitch, close. No SDR handing you leads, not yet. You build the top of the funnel and you close the bottom.
Sell to the people who live and die by their decks: founders, agencies, startup studios, accelerators, fractional execs.
Turn what works into a repeatable playbook the next five hires will run.
Sit shoulder to shoulder with the founders. Your feedback shapes the product, not just the pipeline.
Who you are
You can pitch. Genuinely. You make people lean in.
You have sold something hard before, ideally early-stage or net-new, and you liked the chaos.
You are comfortable with ambiguity and allergic to waiting for permission.
Bonus: you have lived the founder grind and know the deck pain firsthand.
What success looks like
A rough picture of your first chapter here, not a checklist.
You have closed the first wave of customers yourself, end to end, and you can explain exactly why they bought.
There is a repeatable pitch and sales motion written down, not just living in your head.
We know which segments convert, what they pay, and where the next ten customers come from.
Hiring the next AE is about scaling a proven motion, not still hunting for one.
The honest bit
We are early. Comp is part cash, part equity, and the equity is real because the stage is real. Some months will be messy. If you want a polished machine to plug into, this is not it. If you want to build the machine, keep reading.
Logistics
Remote-first, UK / Europe friendly
£50k to £70k base, plus uncapped commission (£90k to £120k OTE), plus meaningful equity
Reporting straight to the founders

This is the important part
No CV gauntlet, and no spec work to get in the door. We start with a conversation and go from there.
Email apply@lurio.ai with a couple of lines on why this role caught your eye, or just ask for 15 minutes. That is the whole application. A short note or a quick call, nothing to prepare, no deck required.
If there is mutual interest, we will set a short, paid exercise: build a deck in Lurio for a real scenario, then walk us through it. We give you free access and the code BUILDWITHUS (sign up at lurio.ai), we pay you for your time, and whatever you make is yours to keep. It is optional too. If you would rather show us how you think another way, say so. This is about seeing how we work together, not a hoop to jump through.
For this role, the exercise would be: Pitch yourself. Show us how you would sell Lurio, or simply sell us on you. Five to seven slides.
Featured, only if you want. Make something you are proud of and we would love to showcase it, but only with your say-so. Your call, never a condition.
The best people we have met got what Lurio is in about five minutes. We think you will too.
